Angelo Liapis, Partner
Angelo is the yin and yang of BetterBuilt. He contributes a duality of background, skills and responsibilities. With education and training in both Greece and here, degrees in both Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Transportation Engineering, he is well acquainted with the architecture and culture of both nations and is fluent in Greek and English. Angelo is a project manager, and is generally Mr. Inside, administering the office and business of BetterBuilt.
Dennis Droggitis, Partner
Dennis is Mr. Outside. He enjoys working with homeowners directly on a one on one basis, assisting them in selecting the right material and enhancement to build the home of their dreams. He takes pride in defying the unfavorable stereotype of a contractor; he is reliable, accessible, and thorough. It’s possible that Dennis has sawdust or paint in his blood since he is the son of a career carpenter. That’s why he paid his way toward a BS in chemistry as a College Pro Painter franchisee. He relaxes by spending time with his wife, two kids and two Golden Retriever.

I had a short turnaround time and tight budget to get all the repairs done and get the unit rented. I wanted to share my home renovation experience with you. Earlier this year I put a 3rd floor dormer on my house. When first embarking on this process I was nervous about the scope of the project and the number of contractors it would take to complete the project. Through it all Dennis Droggitis and his company were tremendous resources and could be counted on for their specialties (painting, roofing, and siding) and also much beyond that. If Dennis and his teams did not have the capability to do certain jobs, he was able to refer me to another company that could. A prime example of this would be framing (after the 1st company that I selected could not do the project on my timeline I contacted Dennis and he was able to refer me to another company who did a great job on my project). The work that Dennis and his teams did was exceptional. All of the work that they did was done in a professional and workmanlike manner. All of his people were polite and courteous to me and my family (as we lived in the house during the 3 month project with 2 small children). They cleaned up at the end of the day and were able to work around my moving schedule. The price was extremely fair as I compared other quotes to Dennis’s.
